An Elegy for Robbie

A elegy for Robbie.

Today I am sad, a dear friend and companion has passed away. At fifteen he still had the aura of a young dog. Not a single grey hair to be seen and so strong, until Sunday morning. We set off for a short walk, but it was not to be, I carried him home, so tired was he. Yes the day before he was quiet, but I was unprepared for the sharpness of his decline. His coat shone like a beacon, his eyes still so loving, a gentle soul was he. Sadly missed but never forgotten. RIP Robbie…

  1. Dear Michael,

Our fur babies are family, aren’t they? I’m so sorry for your loss. Hugs across the sea.

    Shalom,
