Infinity

Better late to the party, than not turning up.

Searching for infinity is rather like looking through a ship porthole and seeing the ocean surface but nothing below or above. Sometimes I feel like I have touched infinity, yet it is like seeing a lone star break cover on a dark night as the clouds part. It is like listening to a single disk on a jukebox but not hearing the music from generations past and future. As I read a noble book or listen to a child speak, I feel infinity slip from my grasp. I feel but a speck in the universe, but I am aware. And I see the Northern Aurora

Universal

  1. I don’t understand infinity; not sure I understand love; I’m amazed at creativity. I’m amazed at newborn babies. There is a lot in this universe I don’t understand, but I surely do enjoy it.

    Good, thought-provoking piece.
