As Irene and I took my god daughter to work at Burnsall we decide to stretch our legs and take a morning walk. Burnsall was at its best, with a gentle breeze and warm sunshine. We walked a short section of the Dales Way, a path trodden by many generations. From the Stone Age and on through the ages of the Vikings and Scottish marauders. Today Burnsall is a peaceful haven. A walkers and cyclists paradise. It is also the site of another one of my watering holes, the Wharfe View Tearooms.
