Thursday: Thank you Jay, at Apple for sorting out my I pad … After visiting the Apple store I had a few hours left to browse the shelves at Waterstones-Leeds. So many books, there must be many good writers out there.

Friday: Returned to Leeds to attend a show at the Arena – Strictly Come Dancing. Exceptionally well compared by Mel Giedroyc. A brilliant show with some fine dancing and great singing.

Saturday: Robbie took one look at the weather … and said that he was not a Husky and that he was staying at home.
