I wake to sunshine, and it tempts me to rise early. I think of walking into town for a coffee but for some unknown reason I spring into action, so the mop spins and the duster flies. Soon the house smiles so I move on to hoover the car and then mow the lawn. Now it’s time for a very late breakfast, so I take a chair into the garden and put my feet up. Now there’s a hedge to trim and Robbie wants to play. I could do with a spell from Merlin to release the aches and pains. No more spring cleaning for me until next year.
