Twisting and Slithering

Storm found herself acting rather like a clock spring. As she unwound and stretched to slip between two boulders. When she had gained the hollow behind them, she twisted to find another gap. Repeating the process time after time as she slithered her way between the shattered rocks that once had once formed an entrance to a underground waterfall.
Her genetic traits developed by the Force organisation, assisted her to cope with the bodily manipulations needed. Later her irises would change colour to deal with the lighting which illuminated the underground levels of Diamond. Levels which had expanded over centuries.

Footnote:
My apologies for I am rather like a clock with a broken spring at the moment, stuck at one point. In my case that is in the fictitious world of Diamond. You may be glad to hear that I do intend to fit a new spring.
I must for other stories are waiting to be told.

    1. Thank you gahlearner. Over the last few years I have been thinking more and more about this underground world. To a point now that I think I am ready to write a novel about the place and those who inhabited it.
