It’s been a curious week, it’s almost felt like I have been retrenching, switching off the computer and returning to pencil and paper, “I wish”. Perhaps I have been under attach from nature, there has been such a proliferation of wild flowers on some roadside verges “beautiful”. There have been local sightings of wild life, including otters, owls, hedgehogs, and goldfinches, and today I was adopted by a bulldog. I have had a trip to a pub for lunch, attended a birthday party, and visited two coffee houses to meet up with friends. But my ability to write has been all but missing, fortunately I have been able to draw on snippets from my past writing to handle two flash fiction prompts.
