If you use the wrong words.

So many things happening and I am all at six’s and seven’s. So is it the time to take a walk. If only to remind myself of what is good in life. Now I must calm myself, for my harmony is at risk. I wonder could I have said it better. The answer is of course yes. Mistakes are all to easy to make, but hard to fix. Perhaps the glue which held us together is under attack. If so who will step in to halt the rot? If the dark side arrives and attempts to take over. I must look to my pen. For that is where I see a chance for redemption. When things go wrong, I must turn away from the dark and head for the light. For there may lay the answer to my prayers. Turning my back on darkness and ignoring all that bides their is the right thing to do, but it is so hard.

Footnote: My response to this photo prompt is more of a blog than fiction, but then at this moment that’s where my muse took me.

  1. To me, it looks like the narrator is heading towards a bad depression. However, the mistakes, the guilt and darkness are all a part of each life here. Very nicely observed and written, Michael.

  2. It is a cause and effect relation. Mistakes are a part of life. Finding perfection in our imperfections is what life is all about. Yet correcting those mistakes and moving on towards the light of the day is what matters. Nice read. Introspection.
